Barack Obama should be the next president because it would be cool to be around for some history I mean none of us were around when George Washington made history by becoming the first ever president of the United States and Barack Obama would be a great president. He would be a great president because he wants to stop the War In Iraq and that is good because one time my dad told me that a war went on for almost over ten years and I do not know what war it was no matter what I do not want this war to go on for over ten years. Plus he also wants to lower the college cost for some people that cannot afford college. Also he wants to keep sacred trust with our hard working veterans. It is good because good people should not be dieing out there so I 100% Support Barack Obama.

The book I am reading is called Return Of The Home Run Kid by Matt Christopher. The characters in the story are Sylvester, Snooky, Susan, and Cheeko. At a Baseball Park That Middle School kids Get to play at. The problem of the story is that Cheeko the man who has been teaching Sylvester how to play good is on a baseball card and Sylvester found out that Cheeko was a part of the Black Sox Scandal. The B-S-S is what they called a couple of bad people that played for the White Sox and tried to change the outcome of the 1919 World Series, they did not go to jail but they were banished from baseball. Plus Susan is starting to give up on Sylvester because he played a little dirty at his last game, he played dirty by doing this, after he hit a home run he trotted around the bases and poked the other team's shortstop. But then he got some advice from Mr. Baruth and with the help of his friends and his team the Hooper Redbirds won the championship.

The book I am reading is called Bridge To Terabithia the author of the book is Katherine Paterson. The main characters are Jesse, Leslie, and May Belle (Jesse's little sister). The story takes place at his house on a farm in Washington. I do not really think there is a problem in the story the only sad thing is that Leslie fell off the rope when she was swinging across the creek to Terabithia and she died. Because she did not know how swim and it just rained the other day and she swung across and the rope broke. Jesse was not there when it happened he was at the museum with the teacher he had a crush on. But when he got home he wondered why the cop cars were there. When he got inside his parents told him that she had died but he did not believe them he said,'' NO!!! your lying it is not true''. The story ends by him making a bridge across the creek and showing May Belle the true magic of terabithia.

The book I am reading is called The Get Rich Quick Club the author of the book is Dan Gutman author of Honus & Me, Babe & Me, and Shoeless Joe & Me. The main characters are Gina Tumolo, Rob Hunnicutt, Quincy Biddle, and Edward & Theodore the Bogle twins. The book takes place in a small town called Farmington in Maine. The problem is that these kids have nothing to do all summer. Plus when they come up with a realistic (fake) U-F-O photo they send it to a newspaper company called The National Truth. They wait about two weeks and then they get tired of waiting and call The National Truth and when they call the reporter said that they would have to wait a year before putting another U-F-O photo in there paper. But then they find a news paper that will put there photo in the front page! But then at the end Rob told the paper that they lied about the U-F-O photo being behind the rest of the company’s backs. The moral of the story is that it is not good to lie.

The book I have been reading is called Sports Heroes Brett Favre. The main character is Brett Favre and he plays for the Green Bay Packers. The setting of the book is in Green Bay and that’s in Wisconsin. The problem is that he got in a car accident. When he was ready to come back and play football for the college he was way to weak to play so he started working out again than he gained a couple of pounds (five or ten pounds maybe fifteen or twenty more pounds but no more than that many pounds) and then a couple of weeks or months later he was back again to be the quarterback for his college team (The Hawks). At the end of the book they start talking about how Brett Favre is today he was in a Homeless Support Fun Raiser and he also broke the record for most passing yards. I feel it is funny how Brett”s birthday was on October, 10 1969 and my birthday was on October, 10 1996 isn’t that funny how it is on the same day and the years are just backwards. I think that Brett Favre is an amazing quarterback that still plays for the Green Bay Packers, and if you do not know how to pronounce Favre it is pronounced (far-ve). Brett favre is an important person to the Green Bay Packers and the NFL (National Football League), and today he still plays for the Green Bay Packers and is a fantastic quarterback today. Did you Know the Green Bay Packers was the team that won the first Super Bowl to ever take place? Well guess what they actually were the first! isn’t that kind of cool?

One of the characters in my book called Spy Kids Spy T.V is Carmen Cortez. Carmen is always ready for action, but sometimes her parents do not let her. She also has a really cool brother, and he knows karate. The whole Cortez family is smart, but only Carmen knows what she is doing. Carmen’s personality is really stubborn, but only with her freaky family. Carmen has long black hair, and she also has dark blue eyes. I feel that Carmen and the Cortez family are really cool spies.

The book that I am reading is called Sports Heroes Derek Jeter. The author of the book is Kim Covert. The person who they are mainly talking about in the story is of course Derek Jeter. The story takes place in Derek’s hometown Massechusets and New York. In real life Derek Jeter Is a man that plays shortstop for the Yankees. When Derek Jeter played for the minor league they had to change the first baseman because his glove could not handle how fast and how strong Derek had thrown the baseball he kept dropping the ball during games. Derek Jeter played shortstop for his high school team to, and so did his father so he is following in his fathers footsteps. Derek ’s grandmother’s name is Dot Conners, Dot took Derek to his first baseball game when he was 6 and that was when Derek figured out he wanted to be a Major League baseball player.The Yankees chose Derek Jeter as number 6 to be picked on the draft. On one of Derek’s minor league games he hit a homer that went sailing through center field and hit a t.v camera on the roof. At the end of the book they start talking about how Derek Jeter plays these days for the Yankees. I feel that Derek really is a sports hero, but I am not a Yankees fan I am still an Indians fan.Thats the end of my paragraph.
